There the same at the Riverside, all they do when they score is stand up and clap they dont even bother having a quick bounce or a roar lol, one of the worse sets of fans in England vocally are Boro.

agree with you sham 1st half was very poor but better in 2nd...but still alot of room for improvement. Thought Blackwells interview was so funny on football heaven. "the pitch is very heavy" hillarious - its the same for all the other bloody teams - They stopped us for getting into the game - well deal with it then and shame on us for letting them do it to us in our own ground - stop making excuses for a poor first performance.

My defending of Blackwell is becoming very thin now...maybe even I think its time for a chance now and I was a great supporter of Blackwell.

Right feel better now I got that of my chest

blackwell's just a poor mans warnock,he loves the sound of his own voice and tells anyone who will listen he's our most successful manager of all time..what a joke,in my life time i'd say bassetts probably brought more success than anyone and even ian porterfields did more for us than cocco.

Gotta say that looked like a penalty to Middlesborough when Aliadière got a nice Sheffield Sandwich.
Looks like the ref should have been sacked.

What about their handball Corker? I know it was ball to hand but we've seen them given, it altered the trajectory of the ball.

Radio Sheffield reporter to Blackwell ....

Well Kevin, what are your thoughts on todays victory?

Blackwell: (Angrily) - WHY DO YOU ASK THAT, WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? :loopy:

Reporter:- I thought United were pretty crap throughout, but need your opinion?

Blackwell:- Well I'll give you my opinion then!

You ought to have seen Lee Mason in the Stoke Liverpool match, now that is a ref who needs sacking, he missed just about every decision possible yesterday the worse ref in the premiership by a country mile is that bloke!!!

Thing is, with premiership refs, a lot of them like Poll, Stiles and the like have egos as big as the players and think the fans have actually come to see them. Lee Mason and Howard Webb are the current ones that have the big egos

Many moons ago when the kids were little we had a run of away games and the kids wanted to go to a “game” , I think Barnsley and Rotherham must have been away as well because we ended up going to Hillsborough.:o

Yes the interview was shocking. We played crap in the first half - oh thats because the pitch was heavy - yes of course Blackwell - ought ya say mate!!! We played crap coz we hadnt woken up by the looks of things.

Second half did get better though.

It would be nice to come on here and say we played a right good game of footy and everyone gave 100% all the time but oh no we are lucky sometimes (was a good goal though tbf) but unfortunately the luck will run out and then were do we go???

I was thoroughly bored by this game. In fact I had completely forgotten I was there until stumbling across this thread today.

The style of play was poor, desperately so in the first half, and I'm not sure we would have won the match if Boro had anything about them. Despite a few shots they were utterly lacking in direction, we should have put a side like that to the sword with ease.

Remind me, what exactly is Ched Evans supposed to do; score goals, hold up the ball, provide opportunities for other team members...? It's just that, well, he doesn't really seem to do any of those things particularly well. Come to think of it, I've yet to see him do anything particularly well.

Well I did say it was when the kids were little, it was when Wednesday were in the premier league and we really went to see whoever they where playing(That’s my excuse anyway:D), my youngest is now 20 so we are going back a long way, isn’t it strange how silly little incidents stick in your mind but you can forget what happened yesterday.
