Does anyone know what bus service goes from sheffield town centre to sheffield airport? If anyone knows how long it takes that would be great as well, Thank you

I Think the A1 used to? Not sure if it still does but I think so...

Think it might have been the A1 or something similar. I've seen it pull in on Commercial Street (?) near Adecco oppsite the No1 Oriental buffet place, but don't get the bus there any more so don't know if it's still running.

Prob best to get on at Mulberry Tavern on Arundel Gate, then Europa Link is the Airport Business Park stop. I think. Just ask the driver when you get on. Looks like it'll take about 18 minutes (in ideal conditions presumably!)

You can also get on at the main Sheffield Interchange

I've travelled on the A1 for the past 12 months to get out to Outokumpu Sheffield, just past the airport. It runs like clockwork every 30 mins.

The service takes bang on 30 mins from the centre, and the best places to catch it are on arundel gate. Either outside the Yorkshire Gray (it's the far bus stop back near the roundabout where there's a big hole in the pavement right now) or down the bottom of arundel opposite The Option One.

They are building a new industrial site and offices out where Sheffield airport is / was. If you worked in such an office what busses could you use get to there and back???
Is it easy / possible on a daily basis with different shift patterns?

Bus A1 goes from Sheffield to Rotherham via Sheffield Airport, this is operated by First. Visit www.sypte.co.uk or www.firstgroup.com for timetables.

What andy said ^^ I'm sure they are on a 30 minute frequency which is quite good. Bus also serves Meadowhall Interchange

Yes it still operates.. the current service is provided by Dunn - line who have the tender until mid 2009.
