I am offering a mobile pamper and grooming service for you piggy, this service involves:

A nice warm bath with a thorough shampoo for your piggy

Towel wrap and dry

De-tangle if necessary

Hair trimmed (if longhaired)

Grease glands cleaned where applicable

Nail trim


Your piggy will be fed food and fresh vegetables throughout his/her/their stay here with me.

This service takes place any day of the week

To ensure your piggy is properly finished 3 hours is required from start to finish for your piggy.

You will need to drop off and collect your piggy for this treatment.

All the above for £8.00 per piggy (all money raised goes to the rescue guinea pigs)

Thanks Peaches ad edited as necessary :) I have just had a phone call from a lady wanting me to rescue her couple of piggys. OH is collecting them on the way home from work. She says she got them at christmas and she not got time for them. She has a 6yr old daughter and apparently I have been warned that they are overdue their cleaning out. Poor things I cant wait to get my hand on them and "rescue" them.

"Overdue for cleaning out" - I bet that's an understatement. Poor little things .. "got them for christmas" .. says it all, sadly.

The woman was asking if my OH is any good at catching them and then they said it doesnt matter they will just send them in their cage

sometimes you have to bite your lip and rescuing is the only answer, but why parents let children get away with this kind of behavour is beyond me , I have children in Zimbabwe caring for rabbits properly and they are comitted to them , mis treating animals doesn't treat children much ! you have to teach them !

Iv had a rescue hamster come in aswell. Black and white syrian gorgeous with a really nice cage. Only 8 months old. Owner allergic to her and hasnt been able to find her a new home so she come here temporarily

At least its only running lice..... thats easily sorted.

Yeah I sorted them last night hopefully they are gone for good now. I will keep them for a couple of weeks and then will rehome them hopefully to a loving forever home
