Is it just me but cannot tune into Radio Sheffield on my DAB Radio and now its dissappeared off Virgin Media ch 930.
Whilst its great waking up with Sarah Kennedy on Radio 2 am not so keen on the Ginger lad at 7.00 and need my fix of Toby and Everard.
Any Ideas/ Advice ?

Do you have a scan facility on your DAB. If you remove all power and put in the aerial will it do a new search for channels and then sort it self out. I had to do this the other day with one of mine as I dont think they pick up new channels automatically. Sometimes you can do firmware updates on these radios, never tried, but you would have to look at the manual on that.
I think I saw a thread the other day saying that it was no longer on DAB. Could be wrong though.

Thank You Dizzy
Yes have auto scanning and have tried a few times and turned power off etc .
But still no tune in
The other thread I saw was http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=538359
The Radio Sheffield website still says they broadcast on DAB. Batteries are dead in my DAB at the moment so I can't check for you myself!
Listening to it now full strengh on reception in S13, prob just the weather affecting it in your area at the minute.

Moved it to other side of room and hey presto success :):D
Still not over chuffed with virgin though:(
Thanks All
Surely not being able to tune in to Radio Sheffield is cause for celebration?
Try channel 937 l think virgin are moving radio channels about at the minute.

i have had radio sheffield on most of the day on dab in my van and no probs at all.i could be due to the snow settling on the transmitter at crosspool that could be causing break up or poor signal.moving the radio or aerial may help.

Definitely wrong, still listening in on both my dabs , and the car radio without any re-tuning.
