I spend most of the day at work looking forward to going home, but yet after a couple of hours watching crappy T.V and staring at the dishes that need washing, I'm usually bored.
Is it me? Am I the only one who gets bored so easily? Yes I have things I could be doing; like washing up, cleaning, ironing etc.. but who can be arsed? :P
Tell me, cos I'm curious, is it just me? lol.

I get bored...but then that is easily solved. Theres lots of things that arent tv! Read a book! Go to the gym, learn a musical instrument, go to the pub. There must be something you like doing that isnt tv that will keep you occupied?

FINALLY! Someone said it! I thought it was just me that was just a boring old trout, but yeah, I feel that too!
I've been working full time over the summer (I start uni in Sept) and I've just felt like its never going to end! I go to work, come home, have a nap, get up, chat online, go back to bed... and so on... It never ends!
I know I should be enjoying my break, but its just slipping through my fingers because I can't be bothered to do anything!
I'm introducing some more activity into my routine now... I'm going to start going swimming twice a week, aswell as taking trips out to Derbyshire (on the rare weekends I ever get off work)... I used to love table tennis too, so I might try and get into that again... Just for something to do to be honest!!! lol
I think me and thee should get off our backsides and go to some of these here forum meets!

No it's not just you - it's me as well.
Do you notice that when you say this people immediately want to come up with helpful suggestions like read a book, go to the Peak District and so on. But let's face it we can't be bothered.
I do read books and go out and stuff I want to do but there are plenty of weekday evenings especially where I just come home, tidy up, do a minimum of household chores, get something to eat and end up lying on the settee watching TV.
If the media showed more people just lying around fairly torpid we'd realise that most people of all ages do it. Of course it wouldn't be good tv but it would be cheap.
Extras last night had Ricky just lying on the settee doing nothing.
