We need someone to look at our boiler and get it re-started. It has been drained for some rad work and now won't start. Does anyone know of a qualified plumber who will look at it and give us an idea of cost without charging. Obviously we would give the work to them if it wasn't hugely expensive or a new boiler needed.

Thanks.

PS. We have tried to contact Corgigasman but had no luck.

I recommend PD Plumbheat. Time served plumber and heating engineer. Gas safe registered (formerly corgi). Efficient, honest and reliable. Recently undertook work for my grandparents and now completes their annual gas safety check. tel 0114 2215265 or 07886625484.

has the system got enough water in it? also when a system is drained of water there can be air in the system which needs letting out by bleeding the radiators. you can do this work yourself if thats what it is

I had a problem with my boiler last night...I was worrying a lot as my kids were feeling cold and no hot water at all.....I found the number of Craig of CP Plumbing and Heating in the sheffield forum...He came and checked the problem on a short notice, he fetched the spare part himself ...believe me within an hour boiler working ...

charges are reasonable ...I would reccomend him...contact Craig 0114-2485571
