Come down and support the Swimathon 2010 launch tonight at Ponds Forge at 5.30pm.
This is a great opportunity to meet Marie Curie nurses and get involved in the photoshoot.
This is a national fundraising event taking place on 15 April 2010 from 7am-2pm. It is fun and family orientated, raising money for an extermely worthwhile cause.

The Swimathon organisers get people to count laps and record times, so it is not quite like just going for a swim. If you are not used to swimming 5km, it is pretty easy to lose count. Having someone record times is also handy if you are 'competing' with another team or if you want to know how you rate nationally. The Swimathon website has all of last year's times on it, broken down by distance, age group and gender. Some are pretty impressive - 65 minutes for 5km ain't bad!
It's half price entry until Sunday 31st January.
Pigtails (aka Helen, General Manager of Ponds Forge), was very generous last year, provided flapjacks and yorkies for swimmers after they'd done their swim.
Am sure she'll be equally as generous this year...
