BertieBasset 11-08-2005, 16:18 much better than Beauchief, close to Fulwood and Ranmoor Nick 11-08-2005, 17:52 I think it's a great area and IMO 'better' than the other areas you mention. Jammie 11-08-2005, 20:51 Me thinks every place has its charm. All the places you mentioned seem reasonable to live! H.P 12-08-2005, 06:35 I lived at nethergreen for a few years when I was younger, I loved it, Its peacefull, pretty, and less than a couple of minutes walk and theres all that lovley green open space to walk in.I hear that the schools up there are pretty good too! (wish I still lived there) topdog 12-08-2005, 13:35 Really nice area! Am moving there myself soon and it is one of the greenest places in Sheffield. Crime rate is low as well! Beauchief - nice Nether Green - nice Crookes - nice Woodseats - nice Hillsborough - nice Nether Edge - OK Sharrow - OK In the main, I'd sum them up as 'nice' or 'OK'. pete_fcs 13-08-2005, 21:09 nether green is very nice, close to bingham park too, where you can walk straight out into open country/ peak district robbie 14-08-2005, 17:23 Hanging Water is lovel. Basically an extension of Ranmoor or Fullwood. Never green is pretty similar. much nicer area than Woodseats, Walkley, Nether Edge, Sharrow and Crookes. however Crookes has a better transport network. That would be the only downside there. |
