Hi i was thinking of a few new ideas to generate extra revenue for my business.
We currently hire F1 cars out to events ect but does anyone think if we was to open up our warehouse and hire it as a party venue for kids it would be of interest? (when i say warehouse it would be a room inside)
Obversley its not everyday you can say youve had a F1 car at your Birthday party!
How much do you think people would be prepared to pay for the venue with the cars on display for a hour or two?

Interesting idea but you need to look into the Health and Safety issues to do with using your warehouse as a party venue; particularly if it is aimed at children
We used to own a 3000 sqft play centre in Leicester and the party revenue was very important to us.
You might want to contact Business Link about their Innovation Voucher scheme. I think your project might well qualify for a knowledge provider to investigate this for you.
If you PM me, I can tell you more about how we might be able to help you out with this

Would the kids get to sit in the cars and make bbbrrrmmm bbbrrrmmmm noises? If they get to rev the engines then I guess they would love it. If its just sitting next to one then I'm not so sure.
I Have been involved in motorsport for over 6 years . 2 of my sons race karts .Kids like to drive not just sit in cars/karts .You may need to offer something else.

The idea of offering the cars would be a added extra the main idea would be to offer the room as a venue. The room is seperate from the warehouse so from a health and safety aspect risks would be minimal.
The F1 simulator kids would be able to go in and drive on a track but also we do have a few more items in which we could offer like our motorbike simulator and even the nintendo wii.
Hope Your idea is successful. Good luck

u could add scalextric tracks as well so the kids could race and hold a tournement if u did partys and would need to be occupied as kids lose patience very easy and if u have 20 kids they would help

Yes the thought had crossed my mind it would have to be a 6 or 8 lane track though.

Have you ever heard a F1 car revving? Even with ear plugs in it is uncomfortably loud.

I was fortunate to be working as a race marshall (as well as having the simulator there) at this years British Gp so i can confirm ear plugs was required!
