The Audit Commission report on Sheffield City Council has once again confirmed their 'Good' status, only just short of the top accolade of Excellent. See their report on an improving Council here:

Oh Max :D you do such a good job of promoting Sheffield City Council that I think they should put you on the payroll ( or perhaps you already are ) ;)

There are so many threads and posts on this forum slagging the council off that I thought something positive might make a nice change.

PS No, I'm not employed by the council.

Why was I was not surprised to see they scored just a single point on environmental services?

If it wasn't the lowest available score, I doubt they would even have got that.

Not good, and certainly not 'just short of excellent' :mad:
