On 4 January, three chihuahuas were stolen from Walsall, West Midlands. They can now be anywhere in the world, but please be on the lookout in your area.
They are back home safe :d

That's great news :clap::clap::clap:
oooo thats lucky, so glad they are home.:D
they are understandebly over the moon :D
The police were involved and raided an address where they found the chis plus other dogs,so they are all safe
seadog
that's a bit disturbing
I know theft does happen, but I'm glad a large number of suspected thefts turn out to be otherwise
was the address local to their home?
Dont know all the details but owners were very very pro active in looking but there has been a HUGE increase in dog thefts in the south,A huge amount of gun dogs springers etc have been stolen and a large amount of ridgebacks
seadog
thanks seadog
that's an odd combination :confused:
are the gundogs being stolen to work? I think ridgeback is an element desirable in breeding fighting dogs - any ideas what else they'd be wanted for?
what they are trying to do is x breed ridgebacks and lurchers to get hunting dogs that have a strong prey instict it is awful really ,There will be a article on watchdog either this week or next regarding dog theft so i will be watching that
so mainly hare coursing presumably
it drives me nuts that so much time and effort is put into such campaigns as tail docking or the latest hoo-ha between the RSPCA and KC of inbreeding, but this kind of 'animal welfare' is more difficult to pin down, so is largely ignored in favour of 'higher profile' causes
