First E11even is a brand new South Yorkshire Football Fan Magazine to be launched in February 2010 and is currently looking for writers, advertisers, sponsors and promotion girls.

The name derives from the 11 Clubs and Organisations that are on-board -Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Sheffield FC, Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Hallam FC, Back The Bid Sheffield & Sheffield & Hallamshire FA. The ethos of the magazine is to be fair and even in content quality and quantity for each club/organisation in order to reflect the diverse footballing culture of South Yorkshire.

So, have you got a burning issue you want to see in print about YOUR club? Or South Yorkshire football as a whole? Or has the entire ‘beautiful game’ gone ugly? Are there unsung fans or fan groups in the region you want to herald? What about England’s chances for the 2010 World Cup? Or the 2018 World Cup Bid - Happy with Hillsborough or Bemused about Bramall being omitted?

Or do you have other ideas or ways you want to get involved?

Articles should be between 500-1,000 words and any additional images and pictures would be great. Final Article Deadline is 10th February but get them in earlier if you can!!

Don't mean to be rude, but Chesterfield, despite being close by, isn't a South Yorks club - so why would a SY football audience be interested in their inclusion?

Do you pay for written articles, and if so, what are your current rates?

Have you asked 'The Star' and 'Green 'Un' the same question then? lol

Thanks for the post, it's something that I discussed with the club as location one is ambigueous to say the least....For instance, they supported both the Sheffield and Derby 2018 Host City Bids while like I pointed out above....the local papers feature them...

Articles are fan contributions only so there are no payments

Asking the Star or Green 'Un isn't relevant; I asked you, politely, and you couldn't answer.

And you couldn't answer either about the local papers coverage!! :hihi:.

Ok mate, check out the Chesterfield website and the recent articles on the new B2net stadium and the plan for it to be a training camp for the Sheffield 2018 bid....Out of interest, What's with the anti-Chesterfield stance Ade?
