Evening all.

As it's the new year I've decided it's time to start playing a few new sports.

Had a look on the EIS website as I don't live too far away from it, and so far table tennis and one or two of the martial arts have caught my eye... Just wondering if anyone from the forum uses the EIS for coached sport? If so, what sort of age-range tends to use it (or to put that another, am I likely to find people who are also in their early twenties?) and does it get busy/ are their enough coaches for the volume of people who turn up?

I fence at the EIS on Thursdays but there is also coaching for beginners on a Monday night. The information is here: Sheffield Sword Club (http://www.sheffieldswordclub.co.uk/).

We take all ages and ability so just turn up for a taster and have a look.

I started going the Tuesday boxing sessions at EIS...
There was always a good mix of age ranges.

I am now a member of their gym and get to use most of the sports free as part of the memebrship package.
