I have to mail postal tubes (bout 40 inches long) and soft packages (jumpers) etc together. Other than a courier service has anyone got any idea how this type of thing is normally sent without packaging them separately? Has anyone ever ordered them together online and how did they arrive?
At a bit of a loss how not to have to package them separately and charge two lots of postage.
Thanks in advance

Make up a single parcel containing all the items!
Depending on how much protection is needed this could be any combination of paper, plastic, bubble wrap or cardboard and lots of sticky tape.

Problem is it needs to look a bit nice - not like some monkey in an office has welded it together (although it will have)

Depending on how many tubes there are, you should be able to find a box to fit the tubes in with a bit of space for the jumpers.
I am thinking of the sort of box that shops have rolled-up posters in.
Expensive alternative: Telescopic Storage Box (http://www.a1box.co.uk/acatalog/products.html)
Make sure you don't wrap the tubes so they look like a rocket launcher or something, or you might find your post being blown-up by the bomb squad.
