My brother's Samsung LCD monitor is currently suffering from a b0rked backlight inverter.

As we don't have the electronics knowhow (nor the desire) to fix it ourselves, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent place where we might expect it to get repaired, and what we might expect to pay.

Please just shops or places that offer a guarantee and a decent track record of repairs.

Preferably S8 side of the city, as Hillsborough and S6 in general is too far out.

Thanks! And happy new year.

Try P&M Cash trading on woodseats they deal with computers ect, and they might be able to sort you out, plus they sell LCD monitors from £25.
Happy new Year!!

Its reasonably easy to replace an invertor, if you have the invertor already, then I can do it this weekend if you want, providing you can bring it to me friday or saturday....

Let me know

Thanks Ghozer. I'll discuss it with my brother and see what he thinks.
