Just to let all would-be travellers know that the Woodhead is currently closed. The A635 Holmfirth to Greenfield is also closed. Both due to snow. I used a combination of the A616 and A62 (which was a little awkward in places) to get to North East Manchester this evening.

I'm planning to go to Chester Retail Outlet for last minute shopping before New Year so does anyone know any other road going there?

Previously I drove through Snake Pass to go there.
