Just wanting abit of advice..

Im going to replace the flooring in my bathroom its vinyl/lino stuff (Only cheapo council stuff) and I want to lay something abit more 'tasteful' :|

What do I stick it down with? At the minute, whats down looks like its been sealed with a clear silicon, but cant tell what if anything has been used under it.

So what do you recommend? Glue? Dont stick it down at all and just seal the edges?

Would you also, lay the new stuff OVER the old stuff acting as like an 'underlay'?

Or should I just get a professional in to do it :hihi:

Thanks people!!

When i got my kitchen lino done the fitter used some sort of spray glue. Im sure B&Q might stock what you need. Spray it all not just the edge's or it may bubble.
I wouldn't lay it over the old stuff as it will not look right. If you can afford to pay a fitter then do so but if not then no harm in doing it yourself as lomg as you have some idea of how to do it.
