Aghhhh I hate who ever made this spyware, my mini laptop got infected with it somehow and it locked me out of everything, Chrome, AVG etc. Usually dont bother me but as it doesn't have a dvd drive I had to create a memory stick.

Cant anything be done to the people who create it?

Yep and No - yep - switch to GNU/Linux!
No - not unless someone is watching them - there is but we can't say who!

Easiest solution is don't get infected. I really have no idea how people get infected these days.
