After last year's success, Sheffield is again hosting a stage finish of the cycling Tour of Britain on Thursday 1st September. For more info visit the official website.

That looks good i'll get a return to leeds for start and come to sheffield for the end of the stage. Do you think T-Mobile will bring their best team e.g.Ullrich, Vinokourov.

Probably not, although Kloden did ride last year.

Approx. 3pm (depending on weather etc.) and Pinstone Street.

I would be amazed if Ullrich & Vino where in the T - Mobile squad for the T.O.B

Remember the T.O.B does clash with the first week of the Tour of Spain

I have heard that the Discovery Channel are putting pressure on the Discovery Channel Team to ride the event as the U.K is there biggest TV market outside of the U.S

USPS now the Discovery Channel team did ride last years event and sent some big name riders over like CheChu Rubiera, Jose Azevedo, Pavel Pandranos

Just a reminder that the race will finish tomorrow (Thursday) on Pinstone Street at approx. 3pm.

I was in Blackpool (now there's dedication) for the end of todays stage which was won by none other than Roger Hammond guesting for the british team.
Shame about the weather,but i will again be on Pinstone Street to watch the finish tomorrow.
Then on Friday,off to Buxton then driving over to Nottingham to catch the finish there..

What route did the race take once in Sheffield and where on Pinstone St was the finish line?

i believe it finished outside the town hall (not 100% as i watched it come up the suprise out of hathersage outside the millstone pub )
