Hello
I still have my Grundig sky digibox from when i used to subscribe the sky.
I have been using it the receiev the free view channels, but i was wondering if anyone knew how to reset it to try and get addition channels that are still free, e.g E4??
I still have the Grundig box running full Sky.
Do you not just need a new viewing card or something?

Aren't Sky about to 'kill' all old Freeview cards in favour of this Freesat service they're starting up?

hi ya jenni
yes you shold be able to use your box for fta channels just un plug the box from the sockett for 5 mins then plug it back in it should find up dates automacticly if it doesent you will have to go in to the menu and find the add channels bit not sure if you still have to have the sky card in
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but E4, like UK History, although Free To Air on Freeview, are part of the subscription service on Sky to stop them being seen by viewers outside the UK. You will notice that you can't receive ITV, CH4 or Five either, but this can be sorted out by the one-off purchase from Sky of a Freesat card. I know about this 'cos I sorted one out for my mum who gets absolutely lousey TV reception via the ordinary aerial from where she lives. The cost for that is £20. If you get good ordinary TV reception then it is better to go and buy a Freeview box (about £30) and you will get the above channels.
