Noticed on the weekly planning list an application for a 10 storey hotel on Bramall Lane. Joint applicants Sheffield United Plc & Las Vegas Sands. Perhaps a casino too ??

There will be a casino at the end of the day as they are determined to get one there. What will be the factor in the development is the size of the casino depending on what laws come in about the new super casinos.

yes that well put the casino will get built i imagine that the casino will be small if sheffield doesnt get the regional gambling licence and the rest will be leisurefacilities like a bowling alley the hotel has been planned for a long time and would be good for sheffield copthorne are the preffered company to run it now its down to the planning department i feel this would be reccomended as it will do a lot for a run down area

its no coincidence then that arnold lavers moved out of the city centre & retained the land rights. as well as the the land devlopment company & construction company that usually does these projects.
