I'm trying to find out about some old friends, before I go to the library to look on electoral roll, I was wondering if you knew anything of them.
Gemma Taylor, born on 04/11/1980, my ex neighbour, parents Barbara (worked at Eadon, Lockwood and Riddle) and Harold, lived Rundle Road, went to od school and then Sheffield High.
Secondly Samantha chesterton, 25, my old best friend - I know still loves in Sheffield, used to live in Chapeltown.
Amy Coxin - parents used to run a pub, she'll be 23-24.
I'm just being nosey!

Thanks, can you tell me in what way it's better than the electoral roll? Is it just quicker?

The electoral registers are compiled by parliamentary constituency, and are then broken down by ward, then polling district, and finally by alphabetical street name.
It is a common mistake to think that the electoral registers are compiled by alphabetical surname - they aren't! So, unless you know the street on which people live, and just require to find the house number - there's not much point in consulting the electoral registers.
