Been there a few times with my now ex girlfriend. The food was nothing special but better than the likes of Pizza hut etc...
The service was exceptional but was not really happy with the atmosphere. It seems to be the place for teenagers and people from council estates to go for their posh meal (no offence intended)
If i were you, i would go to Cafe Uno on Eccelsall Road, similar sort of set up without the annoying tables full of kids, it's just been done up so it looks the job too
Hope this helps

I've eaten in ASK a couple of times. It is handy for a lunchtime meal if you work in town. They do a good banoffee pie.

it's a chain, so expect lots of dishes you could easily make yourself with no imagination - be prepared to fork out 7 quid for a bowl of pasta and pesto.
you can maybe tell i wasn't impressed, but it depends what you're after - a quick dinner would be fine, but if you're going to make an evening of it, go somewhere else.
