anyone know anything about the shooting near jenkin drive yesterday morning about 6am. jenkin road was closed up to mid morning.

You heard anything about this Craig? My other half's mum lives a few roads down and she didn't hear anything. Bit worrying as Jenkin usually a relatively quite area

I used to live near Jenkin only 2 weeks ago.

i am going on the local gossip, but i saw the road was closed off and the police was searching the grass verges etc.

Just checked this with South Yorkshire police press office. They say they know nowt about a shooting in Wincobank on Sunday morning. "Probably a car back-firing," was the quote.

It worked then. No one saw a thing :suspect:

This just shows how the press office works.
Jenkin was closed off from Sandstone down to Oxted Roads whilst an investigation was carried out. There were six police cars involved. The police then made house to house enquiries at the nearby resideces and shops.

my BIL lives across park and said he didnt hear a thing !

so something must have happend then?
