Now that hundreds of old council houses have been demolished at different parts of Parson cross.. does anyone know what the council is going to do with all this land? it looks great now with all the flowers growing very colourful, but whats planned in the long term cos lets face it this estate does need something to improve it! what would you like to see built on the land, and what would improve the area? Im a tenant and proud of my home and garden but too many people just dont care and spoil the area for others. Id like to see new homes built along side old council homes, new shopping areas, and better ((tenant rules)) from the council.. every part of sheffield has its problems but Parson cross seems to have more than its share.. .

according to council's own newsheets, the land is being sold in 2006 to private developers, so it is likely that new private homes will be built in parson cross
