DID YOU SEE PANORAMA’S PROGRAMME, ‘DEAD MUMS DON’T CRY’, JUNE 26TH ON BBC1
Were you deeply affected by what you saw?
In the General Reference Hospital (Maternity) in N’Djamena in Chad ,women are dying needlessly from commonly occurring complications arising in pregnancy and childbirth.
Dr. Grace Kodindo is the Obstetrician at the hospital and she faces a daily struggle to save women's lives because of a severe shortage of basic drugs and medical equipment.
You're invited to a special screening of the film which has inspired us on: Tuesday 9th August at 6.30pm at BBC Radio Sheffield with a discussion afterwards.
Please PM me if you'd like to come along
