Anybody any idea what caused the hold up on the Parkway outbound from Sheffield this morning? It was queued up from before the Handsworth turn off. I managed to turn off to Handsworth and get to R'ham via Orgreave but it still took 40mins instead of 25! What an outrage.

I blame the council/government/leftie do gooders.

Why what have they done, put speed bumps on the Parkway now?
Is nothing sacroscant?

Even worse, they've stopped drivers using their mobile phones consequently the left lane was full of cars parked so the drivers could answer their phones without breaking the law.

The last bastion of speeding, has now got speed bumps and a crawler lane for mobile phone calls.

I am going for a lie down......

Interestingly I rang someones mobile yesterday and it went to voicemail. It stated " Sorry I can not take your call..........blah blah blah..... I am either in a meeting or driving"

I queued all the way up the Parkway this morning, and got to the scene just as the Police car disappeared - I followed it past the airport.

Nothing left at the scene apart from some sand - although I did see a car on a low loader going in the other direction, which was in a huge mess.
