hi got a message keep coming up from my sky box saying i need a replacment card?
have had this card ages(blue type) and can view free to air channels etc as was a subscriber to sky a while ago but not know
any ideas what i can do now?

You'll probably have to buy the new sky free view card, £20 from Sky

Sky have changed their cards so as you are no longer a subscriber you will have to buy a "Freesat from Sky" card to carry on using it as you are.

as above
only people to get the new 1s for free will be subscribers and people who bought freesat cards or freesat systems from sky (think theres a time limit on how long youve had these cards)
the channels you will loose will be sky3 and all channel 5s line up
there is a way to had channel 5 manually on a skybox but at the moment not the others, i will dig out the info in a min on how to do this
just noticed chan 4+1 does same so added info about that

To add Channel 5:

Services> system set up>add Channels >10.773 - H - 22.00 -5/6 - Find Channels > highlight Five yellow button>select.

To view Channel 5 :

services > select 'other Channels' > select Five.

To add Channel4 +1 :

Services> system set up> add Channels > 10.729 - V - 22.00 -5/6 >
Find Channels > highlight 'Channel4' with yellow button> select.

To view Channel4 +1

services > select 'other Channels' > select Channel 4 +1
