Give him a call Lee ;) I doubt keegan would want a job at s6. Panthera 14-12-2009, 07:59 not unless he's got 30 mill to spend on players and total control over every aspect of the playing squad Bladesman 14-12-2009, 10:17 He would surely cost Wednesday more money than they actually have to spend. not wanted 14-12-2009, 11:40 I would love it if Keegan took over glossopant 14-12-2009, 11:47 nah get gareth southgate in at hillsboro cant do any worse than laws did :) Tipex 14-12-2009, 12:39 You'll just have to do it how we did it and build a new team with a fresh manager bit by bit. sham.69er 14-12-2009, 14:02 Lets not forget KEEGAN grew up in a Wednesday household,His dad use to take him every other saturday to Hillsbro !!! Give him a call Lee ;) soon as it got a bit hot in the kitchen he'd resign like he's done whereever he's been a manager canadablade 14-12-2009, 14:39 Keegan wont come and neither will Southgate both need cash to spend on which you have none. Not really sure what manager you could afford especially as i am sure Laws will need paying out :o scoobydotcom 14-12-2009, 15:44 Keegan wont come and neither will Southgate both need cash to spend on which you have none. Not really sure what manager you could afford especially as i am sure Laws will need paying out :o Think Worthington, Cotterill and Scott we could afford Coppell, D Ferguson, Southgate we would have to risk a bit of cash and i dont think we'll do that, not likely anyway seeing as there;s no sign of investment this side of .. well never lol! sham.69er 14-12-2009, 16:30 why don't we get laws and they can have cocco?????:):) scargill 14-12-2009, 17:10 nah get gareth southgate in at hillsboro cant do any worse than laws did :) Is that the target, someone who cannot do any worse than Laws, hardly looking forward is it SteveBlade 14-12-2009, 17:14 From what ive heard most Wednesday fans want a high profile manager like Keegan, not for success, but because it well help them to sell more season tickets!! What they must not forget is that someone like his wages and demands would be much more than the revenue from season tickets would be! crookesey 14-12-2009, 18:06 From what ive heard most Wednesday fans want a high profile manager like Keegan, not for success, but because it well help them to sell more season tickets!! What they must not forget is that someone like his wages and demands would be much more than the revenue from season tickets would be! It just depends on what you class as high profile, Ron Atkinson is the only high profile manager that I can recall at S6. Keegan isn't earning football wages at the moment, and the odd 500K p/a might just keep the wolf from the door. Seriously though, is he up for a challenge? If so, I can't think of anything more challenging than the goings on in S6. top4718 14-12-2009, 20:31 Can anybody explain WHY we would want Keegan, he is ok (and only ok) in short spells but loses it under pressure and he needs pots of money to spend. ReginaldD 14-12-2009, 20:50 Keegan, you must be joking I'd rather my mate Dean was gaffer with his experience of Championship Manager. Keegan doesn't know anything of players at Championship level and defo doesn't know anything about good players in league 1 who could add something to the squad. CorkerSWFC 14-12-2009, 20:53 Keegan is never going to come to Hillsborough, i can only see us pulling the likes of Worthington or Mcauley, we havent got the clout to draw a decent manager, let's face it who woud want to come into the situation were currently in. Law's was at Grimsby and Scunny before us so in all honesty he was a cheap option the last time around and that was when we had a chairman who at least put a few bob into the club to get a half decent one. Don't get excited lad's i can't see anyone much more different to Law's coming in. |
