Hello Everybody
Some how all my saved emails now open up with windows live mail (not outlook express). I am using xp. I have right clicked the mail and can see options for "open with" or choose program, but I cant seem to work out what I have done or how to correct it. System restore wont restore back. (tried it). Any help appreciated. ta

Go to add/remove programs and set program access and defaults, then custom and finally choose a default e-mail program.

Works for me. Did you click OK after choosing outlook express as the default?

Hi there, yes i clicked ok, in the custom tab but when I looked again the radio button was back in "use my current email program. The two check boxes to the right are bothed ticked "enable access to this program". I somehow think I did this a few years ago but cant remember how I restored it. But I dont remember using the control panel. Ta

When you choose Open with, tick the always use the selected program to use this kind of file box

Why do you want to use outlook over live anyway?
