Anyone any bright ideas? Tipped a tin of emulsion down a new tracksuit, tried washing it on a cool wash in the washing machine (twice), it's still there. Tried white spirit (bolting horses and stable doors spring to mind!) but no joy.

Any suggestions, fellow forumers?

if its water based emulsion it should wash out but i wouldnt use the washing machine as it could settle in the works if its not rinsed properly

if its oil based emulsion i would think it best to buy another tracksuit.....

I think it takes a few washes. Maybe try some vanish or similar :)

Doh. Thank you, you two for the replies.

What is it about the Sheffield Forum that paralyses the initiative part of yer brain and has you posting questions instead of going off and finding the answer yerself? Like I would have done (thank you Joel tho) before I discovered the pesky forum.

Thanks anyway, now off to Take Control of the situation and rewash and rewash until it fades to nothing.

Cheaper than a new tracksuit, if it works!

PS Too late depoix! It was already washed last night, but the machine appears to have suffered no ill effects. Not visible yet, anyway..
