What's cheap? What do you want it to do? You can buy a card for a tenner but what's the point! cavalier_SRi 08-12-2009, 14:24 what is agp and i have a pci express slot and around 30 to 50 quid and just fancy upgrading my pc specs, want to improve my home built pc. cavalier_SRi 08-12-2009, 14:34 is this a good one? http://maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=220995 neeeeeeeeeek 08-12-2009, 15:02 What does your computer not do now that you want it to do? It won't make it any faster or prettier, the only thing that will be better is graphic intensive games. If you don't play any then don't bother. That card looks alright, check ebuyer tho as Maplins are generally very expensive. willnotbite 08-12-2009, 15:31 the card's not bad, buy as neek says try ebuyer, or ebay.. just checked and found that card new for about £15 less than maplins on ebay.. and read up about the cards more if you havent already as the onboard memory (for that card) is only 256, but with turbocache it can be boosted to 512.. but the turbocache goes on how much ram is installed on your pc.. so to get full use out of it you'l need to make sure you have enough ram.. walkertelecoms 09-12-2009, 09:36 what is agp and i have a pci express slot and around 30 to 50 quid and just fancy upgrading my pc specs, want to improve my home built pc.
