Just to inform that anyone interested in this brazilian martial art there are classes on through the summer. the lessons taught be mestre marcelo are held in rotherham on wednesdays and you need to get in touch before the class as sometimes they are not on.

If so pls can you let me know where / when ?
I think someone said the iniversity did lessons in term time but if so would this only be for students ?

Hello all,
does anybody know if there is a club in Sheffield where you can do capoeira?
I've always wanted to try it but don't know if there is such a club in Sheffield.

It's a kind of martial art but that comes from Brazil I think. You can sometimes see it in a BBC interlude when 2 men look like they're fighting but they're actually not touching each other and it looks more like a dance.
It's beautiful to watch and it's supposed to make you very flexible and fit.
