Today I was at Meadowhall, and seriously, every time the people in fornt of me (on any escalator) got to the top... they stopped still to decide which direction to go. How about moving out of the way of everyone else??!!! I know this sounds petty, but it's sooooo annoying. If it was you - please be aware!!!
And, while I'm on, in general why are people so rude now - not changing direction on walk ways, pushing past without an 'excuse me' or 'sorry.' Northern charm is being lost....
Moan over :-)

Speenie, this is my pet hate as stated in the recent poll about pet hates. People seem to think about themselves ONLY and when they get to the top, the world stops behind them to look at a map. Grrrrrr. And yes, people are rude, but youi should try living in London, or worse Paris. First hand exp of the lving breathing epitome of rudeness.
Hooray, I am not alone!!
Yeah, I expect it in London, I've just visited Paris and it wasn't as bad as I thought (I was only ther days though!).

Mate, it's been my worst beef for years, Im surprised the govt has not issued a public information service announcement about it. 'Pin 'eck. I think I'll get a t-shirt done to raise awareness, but then those who need to see it the most will probs be looking at their store maps anyway!

speenie,
I think these people are the same ones who walk out of a shop directly into the flow of people passing and then stop!
If you walk into these people or make a comment they usually give you an evil look or call you something under there breathe!
And why does it always seem to be the same types of people. Not to be derogatory but I think most times they are the reason why cousins shouldn't marry!
