Mum has asked for a large knitting bag for Christmas as she has just started knitting again. Does anyone have any reccommendations for large pretty knitting bags?

Don't have any suggestions right now, but nice to "hear" from you, how are you?

This site has some, but they are rather traditional here (http://www.knitandsew.co.uk/Knitting_Bags.htm)

Absolutely knackered - after 5 weeks placement. Had no time to even spend it with the family during those weeks as I was either planning and prepping or at school so it had been nice to spend a bit of time with them this weekend. Thanks for the links BTW. Has Jill got anything in the shop atm?

This one (http://www.knitandsew.co.uk/Antique_Knitting_Bag_686.htm) is quite nice but it doesn't seem to say much about it!

Yes, i think there are a few knitting bags left, perhaps she'll log on in a bit and let you know. You will probably get a nice rest in the Christmas break then?!

Possibly not as I have a masters level assignment on teacher talk due in straight after Christmas :(

Good to hear from you Lisa. Try and make it to the meet when you can. I have some regular knitting bags in stock.

You could knit one or make one by other means. :)

Muddyfox makes some lovely bags, maybe you could ask her if she has time to make you one?

I've got a Namaste bag and they are huge!

They don't look like traditional knitting bags though

I've got the Malibu, and it's a bottomless pit

i could just go and touch......... perhaps just take a chair and sit and knit next to one and pretent it's my knitting bag. Please note that if there is a charity that helps people like me they could buy one for me.
