What a wonderful match at Twickenham yesterday. I am privileged to have seen both the Barbarians' win over the All Blacks, albeit on TV. The Edwards' try in '73 may have been the eyecatcher but the standard of yesterday's rugby was outstanding and Brian Habana's face showed just what the victory meant.
I also attended the midweek match at Workington in 1972 when North Western Counties inflicted a win on the midweek side, which included Grant Batty. Memories indeed.
