Hi!

I have a couple of friend that are getting married on Thursday 17th december, after being together for 3 years.

I will use fake names for them, which are Tom & Sally.

Sally cant work due to health problems and Tom is her full-time carer & husband to be.

They cant aford to have a reception after getting married at the registery office, infact Sally cant even aford a wedding dress, cake, honeymoon,etc either.

I am trying to find a room to hire free of charge, then arrange for all the guests to bring an item of food, so that there will be a buffet & guests buy there own drinks.

It would be fantastic if someone would kindly offer to perform for them and there 25 guests, free of charge.

Maybe your a singer, a DJ, a dance or drama group, a choir, play the bag pipes, the saxaphone, a band, etc?

Maybe you would like to perform free of charge, just to give you the experiance and chance to show off your talent.

If you can, then please let me know.

Me to, i can make voices after inhaling helium if that is a talent! :D

I am a talented plasterer, but I don’t think that this would hold the gaze of your guests for long, unless they were paying customers, then they would be stood behind me watching me like hawks! Although due to the current recession, I am used to working for next to nowt!

Have you tried approaching any of the local amateur Performing Arts groups? I would think that they would jump at the chance to showcase their talents.

Might be worth putting this in the musicians section.

Try whatever school / college is closest. Many have a performing arts section and maybe would be delighted to be able to help out. Perhaps you would get a variety of singers / musicians / dj's etc....

I was actually on BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT, and as it happens I have Dec. 17th Free. I am a drag queen, and can do all the classic drag 'lipsynch' cabaret, and also LIVE singing, like I did on BGT, AND, in addition, I am A MAGICIAN and can do lots of tricks (Mainly card-tricks) at peoples tables all night or on stage, whatever you wish.
