Can ayone tell me why there is a "dot" in the middle of my envelope box? I can't find a "key" anywhere.
Thanks

Are you talking about the icons on the forum Mel? If so, it means it's a thread you have contributed to. There's a key at the bottom of each forum page.

If I'm way off course, give us a bit more info, and we'll see what we can do!

Or (coz I mis-understood Kristian's directions at first), click 'homepage' then any of the categories then scroll down to the bottom of the page

they're here (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=4)

So many people are asking this. Couldn't Joe tweak the program to add the "bullet hole" to the rest of the symbols? Just a thought.

Would that not just defeat the object?

I was referring to the "key" that shows what each symbol means. There isn't a bullet hole in the key list, which is why people keep asking.

Don't think I've ever had a keyboard with a Turbo button on - but I assume it was something to do with the Turbo button on the front of old computers. You could use it to slow down your spanky new 25 or 33 MHz 386/486 to (I think) 8 MHz. It came from the days when software (especially games) used to time things by just counting clock cycles without realising much faster processors would soon exist, so some games would run ridiculously fast. Some BIOS had a funtion where you could hit a strange combination of keys to turn the turbo on/off, so maybe you had a keyboard where it did this from a special key?
