My clio broke down in the motor way just 4 hours ago, i found out that the timing belt broke and have no idea what to and how much it would cost. My clio is just sitting in my drive way now.
can any anyboby help with what i should do and how much would it cost me? please!!!!!
Maybe try calling some garages closest to you and see how much they'd charge? I've no idea on prices.
depending on the model, its going to be costly.........
upto £500 as its a time consuming task,
If the belt broke while driving then you are likely to have taken out the valves and cam - possibly the pistons as well - the belt stops everything clashing together. Very expensive unless you were very lucky. :(

I had the cambelt on my clio changed before it went which I think cost me around £140 but I may have had other stuff done at the same time (service, mot etc)
