roughy101 Â Â 10 #1 Posted August 7, 2005 i have just seen what i think is a dragonfly,it was about 3 inches long about 1/2 inch wide and a loveley bright green colour i had beautiful transparent wings,i have never seen one before,anyone know what they are called. spiffymonkey   10 #3 Posted August 7, 2005 I was in the Sherwood Forest visitors centre some years ago, and a great big one (> 3 inches) landed on this womans back and curled up its tail. Somebody mentioned that she had 'something on her' and she swatted and hit it, realised how big it was and then proceeded to have a screaming fit in the little shelter we were all standing in.  I think the dragonfly must have found it highly amusing Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
