Lurch 06-08-2005, 20:57 Are you on about streaming, like radio online, or just sound clips? Not sure about streaming but sound clips are easy enough, just right click the link and select save link as\save target as. Rich 06-08-2005, 20:57 Probably not, cos there's all sorts of issues with recording off the net to do with copyright and all that malarkey.. melthebell 06-08-2005, 20:58 Cocsofts streamdown records things like ram streams and flash files. or total recorder records whatever sound is playing on your puter just like a cassette recorder (or try a search for asf recorder) i swear by those two, they are too of my most used apps :) also firefox has a tools / page info / media section which is useful for finding and downloading files off a website :) also i use leechget 2004 for parsing a website for media and trying to download them sccsux 06-08-2005, 21:07 There's a lot of shareware & a few freeware apps that allow recording of streaming media @ this page (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/all-streaming-video-recording-software.htm). There was a thread about this a while back where some good links were posted, I'll have a look as I can remember the program names :) Here we go - try these: http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40333 http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38768 http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34982 alchresearch 08-08-2005, 11:49 Audacity is good for this.
