Im thinking of moving to West one appartments and was just wondering if anyone would recommend them? Whats it like for parking? does anyone know if they have their own gym within the complex? :)

I live at West One at the moment.
If you do a search for "West One", you'll find loads of previous discussions (Some of which influenced my decision to move here back in March) :)

There is underground parking which is pricey (Costs me £75 a month, but is £50 if you rent a more expensive property) but its secure and is gated.

They did have a gym called "The Cage", however it was just closing down as I moved in, in March. There's some work men in there at present, I don't know what they're doing exactly... But we'll soon see I guess!

Thanks thats great ill do a search. i thought certain appartments came with car spaces but if you rent them thats quite good really even though it is expensie!!

I've lived here since Feb and got to say it's pretty good, although I work shifts and find it cheaper to park on the meter, costs me about £1.40 a day, but I do see glass scattered on the pavement now and again, not that they would bother with my heap. It can sometimes be a bit noisy but the double glazing is spot on.

I used to live at West One and the car parking was included with the apartment. I think apartments with 2 bedrooms come with a space but you have to pay extra for a space if you have 1 bedroom or a Ucube.

I enjoyed living there and it was VERY handy for all the bars and eating out. The only problem was lack of space as I have a lot of junk.

love it, would like more space but defo staying within west one. maybe a exec apartment or something.
