Oh my god. Bless them, I wish they would stop singing though. It really is terrible. They'd be fantastic for kids T.V!

I agree, they'd be Great on Cbeebies or the likes but the singing it a little, well, abysmal.

Come on, who is going to be first to admit their shame. Who went last night? Who descended the depths of taste and decency and went to Barnsley?

Oh dear, seems your post was not wide of the mark. Just seen The Star headline saying that the gruesome twosome had to do a runner after being pelted with bottles.

Terrible behaviour from the audience. Really cannot be condoned. Not funny in any way.

Cowell doesn't make money by being tasteful. He makes money by getting people to watch his shows.

How many kept tuning in week after week, and spending most of the week talking about Jedward? Untold millions, I gather. What an amazingly astute business he must be, then.

Sorry, but who?

The people who attended this club must feel very proud of themselves today, making the national news for throwing bottles at couple of 17 year old boys. Why even go there if they didn't want to watch them perform? They may not be the world's best singers and dancers but they always seemed nice lads with a bit of ambition and at least they went and put themselves out there which is more than can be said for the morons in Barnsley.

The club were happy to “fuel” these morons and what was the security doing?

The club were happy to “fuel” these morons and what was the security doing?Like everything else that happens these days, the innocent victims were punished. J&E were stopped from performing and escorted off stage by burly bouncers. I have no idea what happened after that, as the news clip finished at that point.

I believe that the main reason for taking them off stage was to inform them that the incident had taken place and let them know that they should have said OW or something similar.

Says it all really, they're so pathetic they didn't even know how to dodge the bottles that were, somewhat predictably, lobbed at them in Barnsley last night.

The unfortunate point about this is that Louis Walsh wasn't on stage to receive a direct hit but hey, ho, maybe next time?

he is part responsible for the crap music scene we have at present by some of the acts appearing on his shows. Why not have a show for proper bands, that actually know how to play music as well as sing it. i am fed up of the mediocre shower of poo that passes for popstars these days fuelled by pieman bowels shows

Maybe so, but he is not to blame. He provides what the public want to see - if he didn't, he'd make no money.

They're crap. If you cant sing you shouldn't be there. You've never been to a karaoke night then? :hihi:

Whatever some moronic individuals seem to think, nothing gives them the right to turn up at a gig and throw things at the turn. I'd hazard a guess that they were knuckle dragging apes who were jealous of two young lads who appeal to the girls :D

*sorry for correcting your post but it was actually giving me physical pain to look at it

british music is being killed by xfactor

it died in the nineties, you only need to compare the current offerings with the music from the late 60s to the mid 80s with those who came after :(

the music/youtoob thread provides all the evidence you need

I agree, most music in the charts this decade is less than to be desired, X-Factor or not. I was never even keen on 90s music but now it's just pretty abysmal.

I wasn't surprised by such an incident; less so than the time when I was attacked by two PENSIONERS late one night in Barnsley town centre, for riding my bike while dressed in drag:hihi:...
