HELP NEEDED URGENT!
my computer has one hard drive which is 80 gig, when a friend installed windows xp on it in ntfs he assigned 20 gig to drive c and the other 60 gig to drive d.the problem is now that ive just about used the 20 gig and i want to make use of the other 60 gig,i would like to know how i can easily combine the two so i get full usage of the hard drive.when i try to download anything i dont have enough space.
If any one can shed anylight on this subject i would be most grateful, thankyou

Just save stuff to the D drive instead of the C drive. Failing that, Partition Magic will merge the 2 partitions without needing to reformat.

yup tell things to save to the d: drive

i have 2 drives split into 6 partitions (c:, d:, e: f: g: and h:)

And a third time, just carry on using the drive as 2.

I generally use one partition for the OS and applications and another for all data and documents. If I were you I'd have a sort out and transfer all your documents onto the 60 Gb partition and carry on saving files on the 60 Gb partition.
