hi ya thinking of moving to blackburn don't know if it's in sheffield or rotherham but it's on the border but have got some doubts about it's close proxminity to the m1 so could some one please help me and tell me what the area is like around the council estate at the bottom of west hill.

I think it's classed as Rotherham. I don't know what it's like now but it used to be quite rough in years gone by.

i lived on blackburn for 30 yrs great little estate wish i was back on blackburn school best in yorkshire although ive heard its turning a bit dark if your no wat i mean bang go the house prices

Blackburn school is still a great school headed by Mr Walker.
