Having missed the very last Urban Gorilla at Zero due to lack of pennies and not thinking to buy a ticket in advance I am contemplating going to the 'One Off' UG night at the Leadmill on August bank holiday
Venue wise aint too sure, Leadmill seems a bit on the poky side in comparison to Zero and in need of a good sprucing up but I might give it a chance and pray that it isnt going to be like a flea pit :suspect:
Any other folks from here gonna give it a go?

I went to the first BuggedOut they did at the Leadmill and was surprised how well it worked. It was basically very similar to an UG lineup and there seemed to a lot of UG regulars there. I actually had one of the best nights out for a while, so see no reason why UG shouldn't work just well.

I reckon UG will be ok at leadmill, and thats coming from a leadmill hater!, keep your ears low to the ground about a possible after party @ Sola, I run the place, we hosted the afterparty for the last ever UG and managed to get James zabiela back for a 2 hour set! I am also in talks to set up a new night for the old UG crew!!!

Contrary to what people think The Leadmill is actually a very clean & well-maintained venue, which obviously has a warehouse type feel to it
Obviously, if you compare it to places like Gatecrasher & kingdom then it would seem quite scruffy but I don’t think UG would work in a place that has carpet & velvet walls & glass staircases.
I have to agree with “tak703”. Bugged Out was fantastic & the perfect event for The Leadmill.
Alloy Mental are gonna be huge. Don’t miss the chance to see the exclusive 1st live set in the UK
Tickets for UG @ The Leadmill have already started selling so we’re expecting a sell out.
