Have you tried the telephone number?
You put 'Govt Electoral Roll' in your heading. I hope that you do realise that this site has nothing to do with the government.
ALL government department websites end as follows: .gov.uk and that includes the local authorities. If the website ends with .co.uk it means that it's not a government department.

Hi Joanna,
I found your posting while searching the net for any info on Electoral Roll UK.
Have you had any luck in contacting them yet?
I have also just bought one of their "services" and cannot get a reply from them either by phone or e-mail. I did however, receive an immediate confirmation e-mail from WorldPay regarding my payment which seems to contradict itself by saying "This was NOT a live transaction - no money has changed hands" but then states "Thank you, your payment was successful" and then lists a transaction ID number.
I must admit I'm feeling a bit nervous about this; I hope to God it isn't a scam site despite what looked like a secure server connection.
Look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Pat
Joanna, there are two versions of the electoral roll.
The first is the definitive one with all registered electors on. This is only available to certain bodies eg police, political candidates.
The second is the one that companies can buy for marketing purposes. Ths will be the one that you have paid to view. This register does NOT have all the electors on. If like me you check the appropriate box on the registration form before returning it to the Town Hall, your name will be omitted from the saleable register. This means that although the name you are looking for may not appear on the register, that person may actually be residing in that local authority.
