I have tried to install Photoshop 7 on my Vista laptop and it will not even show up on 'My Computer'. I can hear some clicking from the laptop but no action. Is the Photoshop too old or do I need to download something to make it work?

No PSP7 is fine on Vista, I have it installed on my computer.
Stick disk in, prevent autorun, explore the disk and go to the PSP folder on the disk, run setup.exe.
That is my problem because it will not show up on the laptop for me to stop autorun and use the set-up like I did on my XP P.C.I put the disc in a nothing happens at all.
sounds like a dodgey cd/dvd drive on the laptop, have you tried the disc in you pc? does it autorun straight away?
Yes the disc should be O.K. because I installed it on my XP PC a couple of weeks ago.
Have u tried other discs in the laptop? does it read them ok? if not then i'd say it was deffinately the laptops drive thats no good.
just tried another dvd and it played fine.I will have another go tonight when I have more time.Cheers.

Why prevent autorunning? Welcome menus are naf. Even if it runs close it and go explore the contents of the disk.
I'd lend you my CD for you to use with your key but I have PSP7 in French.

I wish I could do what you write but there is no sign of life at all from the "my computer" It does not even show that there is a disc in.No auto run,no nothing. Thanks for the offer but my French is not all that good.
