Introducing Arts Bytes! This is a new project from Art in the Park, providing an opportunity for adults in Southey Green to learn new art techniques and meet people!

This winter why not come join our arts and crafts activities; these sessions are FREE, open to all adults over 19 regardless of your level of skill. The sessions will end with a free trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park!

This is an opportunity to learn new art techniques from mosaic to print making, origami to embroidery. We will also be recording techniques with photography and camcorders in order to create an online craft blog so others can learn all the art techniques being taught throughout the project.

Sessions are running every Friday at Southey Green Primary School, Crowder Avenue S5
Friday 27th November 1pm-3.15pm
Friday 4th December 1pm-3.15pm
Friday 11th December 1pm-3.15pm
Friday 18th December 1pm-3.15pm

The sessions continue after Christmas for 5 weeks.

Just come along at the stated day and time above and get involved. You don’t have to come every week and no experience in art or IT is necessary.

Over the next four weeks, we will be looking at textile bird making with artist Karen.
All sessions are free and no booking is required!
