It's 18 years ago today since Queen frontman Freddie Mercury died. They're still performing as Queen even though there's only two of the original members left. Couldn't imagine Freddie doing X-factor with glorified karoake singers somehow.

Cant believe its 18 years since he died. I only appreciated how good Queen was until after he died.

Same here and i'm sure it's the same for many.

I remember one of the Sunday papers had the headline that he was HIV, then a lad at school the next day told us he was dead.

I was a big fan since Bo Rap hit me, i never twigged he was gay till very late on in his career. I did'nt have a fav song but this one is quite high on the list for me,,,18 years??
